15 months
Kaitlyn is growing so quickly. She had her 15 month appointment on June 7th. She is in the 5th% for weight and 10th% for height. She's just a little petite thing- just adorable.
Her vocabulary continues to explode. She enjoys saying "yeah" or "yeps" when asked a question. From the time she wakes up to the time she goes to bed she wants to sing. Currently her favorite songs are: Only A Boy Named David ("Own Boy"- as she does the actions), How Did Moses Cross the Red Sea ("How?" as she throws her hand out to her side), and This Little Light of Mine ("Mine" as she spins her hand in circles). She asks to sings these songs ALL of the time! So, we sing them over and over, many times in a row.
At bedtime our routine is read our Bible, sing several songs and then pray. We are having her pray (with our help). We'll get through a couple of praises in her prayer and then if she's really tired she'll end the prayer herself. It's pretty cute.

Kaitlyn now has well over 50 words she says and really understands what they mean. It seems like she keeps adding to them everyday! It's so cute to hear her talk.
I took her outside with me the other morning. It had rained the night before. She was on the patio and I was walking around in the yard. I hear, "This? This?..." I turn around and she had found a worm and was holding it! I laughed so hard and of course had to grab a camera.
My new favorite pet!
Kaitlyn really enjoys sitting and reading her books. It's fun to hear her make up her own story.
